Layering Rugs

Ok, just hear me out. Close your eyes. Ok, open them so you can read. Open your brains to what I am saying. Ready? Ok.

I am proposing layering a smaller exciting rug of our choosing on a large sisal rug. The benefits are:

-We have many more options of the persian rug on top because we can get a smaller dimension. Also lower commitment level.
-Sisal loves dirt. Dog = no big deal and I don't have to spend my life chasing around little dirty people.
- Much more affordable.

I think this could be a great solution. A lot of people do this with hides so that the thing actually under their feet is nice and soft but the floors are still protected.
