Kids' Bath-Shower Trim

This is the Therm control we're using for the kids' bath-shower. California Faucets TO-THCN-66-SN (satin nickel)

We also need 3 volume controls (shower, hand-shower, tub).  Which of the following do you prefer? (Note that the photos show chrome finish but we will get saying nickel for everything.)

SQUARE - TO-66-WC-SN

OR

ROUND - TO-66-W-SN

Note that the escutcheon on the square version has sharp corners. 

So do we prefer a rectangular back plate on the therm and round escutcheons on the volume controls or should we go with the sharp cornered squares? 

FINALLY: 

Unlike the other two showers in the house, this one has a tub spout. So, it is worth considering whether we want to change the vertical order of the four wall controls. Consider the following two options:

Option A looks a little more like one would expect, but Option B puts the tub control closest to the tub spout.
